Sue has been a valued supporter of Plumtree Equestrian since 2007, regularly attending weekly riding lessons and remaining actively involved over many years. In 2024, when physical challenges began to make riding more difficult, a simple suggestion to try carriage driving opened a new door. Sue took to it like a duck to water and has never looked back — rediscovering confidence, enjoyment and freedom through accessible carriage driving. Her journey highlights how carriage driving can be a fantastic alternative for anyone who finds riding more challenging, allowing people to stay connected with horses and continue enjoying equestrian sport. Suzanne and Gemma met at the Bawtry Gala while providing carriage rides around the local area and instantly connected. With her bright energy and infectious smile, Suzanne quickly became part of the community and now attends weekly carriage driving lessons, progressing beautifully. She continues to bring laughter, positivity and plenty of smiles to every session.
