Our goal is to work with other groups and societies to spread awareness and accessibility to carriage driving to as many people as we can.

Raising awareness of disabilities, nonvisible disabilities, neurodiversity and health conditions. Promoting the many benefits of interacting with horses and carriage driving.

Please find below links to groups that we are incredibly proud to be working with. That share our principles for training both Equines and Humans.

Apprenticeships

In any equestrian sport, it is crucial that the equines are treated as athletes and well as the humans.
At Carriage Driving For Our Community we take our role in provided training to apprentices of all ages incredibly seriously. It is the only way to ensure that knowledgeable and safe practices are maintained for future generations.

We provide training for NVQ2 and NVQ3 with the National Horseracing College. This partnership works incredibly well as they are based 5mins up the road from us. Our Chief Coach, Gemma Owens, also worked at the college years ago. Therefore, this is a partnership that has developed overtime, with the priority being high standards of training promoting the correct health and welfare of equines in all equestrianism.
